Puppet Pal and Storybird

Last week Rimu 2 started two new exciting writing tasks. The first is using the ipads to create stories using 'Puppet Pal'.

We wrote about our pirate character

We used Puppet Pal to practice telling a story

We used Storybird.com to write stories 

Sometimes we had to think of new ideas

Sometimes we already had a brainstorm of possible problems

 We have been learning to introduce a character, describe a problem they face, and describe how they solve their problem. We had so much fun using the ipads and storybird.

We recorded our voices on the ipads to tell the story. 

We used our amazing imaginations.

We also have individual log-ins for storybird.com. That means we can log on and create stories using an illustrators pictures.

It was a busy classroom

Thanks to...Mr Robinson for his great ideas about using it in the classroom and Mr Preston for his patience in a busy classroom.

I can't wait to hear the stories and to share them on the blog when we have some finished stories.
